Theatre Adjunct Instructor & Technical Director (Part-Time)

The Thiel College Department of Theatre seeks applicants for the positions of Adjunct Instructor and also for Technical Director for the 2025 – 26 academic year.   Appointments may be combined or filled separately. 

Adjunct - teach introductory courses of Theatre Appreciation and Technical Theatre, preferably in-person.   Requires MA Degree in Theatre or an MFA Degree in Technical Theatre, Lighting Design, or a closely related discipline. Commensurate professional experience may be considered in lieu of the MA/MFA.

Technical Director - minimum of a BA/BFA in Theatre with an emphasis on Technical Theatre/Lighting (MFA preferred). Working experience of two years in lighting and technical preparation and construction of theatre scenery and stage units is required.
