Position Summary: 

We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Principal Engineer to lead and drive technical excellence within our organization. As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for setting technical direction, overseeing complex engineering projects, and mentoring engineering teams to achieve high standards of innovation and performance. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful delivery of high-impact engineering solutions, and shaping the future of our technology and products. 

Essential Duties: 

• Technical Leadership: Provide strategic technical direction and leadership for complex R&D, engineering projects and initiatives. Define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Project Oversight: Lead and oversee the execution of high-impact projects from conception through completion, ensuring technical quality, timely delivery, and alignment with project objectives.
• Innovation & Design: Drive innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies. Design and develop advanced engineering solutions to address complex challenges.
• Mentorship & Development: Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth. Provide technical guidance and support to assembly team and engineers.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, design, and Value Add to ensure cohesive integration of engineering solutions into product development.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce engineering standards and best practices to ensure the highest levels of quality, performance, and reliability in engineering deliverables.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate technical concepts and project status to stakeholders, including senior management and external partners. Provide insights and recommendations to drive decision-making.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance engineering efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Software, etc.) or a related field; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
• 5 years of experience in engineering roles, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and teams.
• Strong expertise in technical design, problem-solving, and innovation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical excellence.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to various audiences.
• Proven track record of mentoring and developing engineering talent.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in Electronics. 

• Previous experience in a Principal Engineer or similar senior technical leadership role.
• Experience with agile development methodologies and project management
