Job Description

Ziegler Tire in Youngstown is currently looking to add another Mobile Mechanic - Truck & Trailer. We would prefer at least 2 years experience in working as a Mechanic on semi trucks and trailers but would consider the equivalent in schooling from a highly motivated individual. Truck provided. Pay scale is based off of experience and includes any commissions earned.
  • CDL Preferred but not necessary
  • Must have your own tools
  • Dependable
  • Able to pass a D.O.T. physical
  • Verifiable work history or schooling
  • Able to pass a drug test
Our Mechanics perform the following jobs and more both in shop and through mobile fleet service:
  • Preventive Maintenance (PM) for trucks and trailers.
  • Federal annual / D.O.T inspection
  • Electrical and lighting repairs
  • Replacement of batteries, alternators, and starters
  • Full brake component replacement
  • ABS Scanning and work
  • Alignments on trucks and trailers (will train)
  • Front end and suspension work
  • Replacement of wheel seals and bearings
  • Air conditioning service
  • Roll up door repair
  • Replacement of springs, shackles, and u-bolts
  • Commercial Tire Work
  • General Labor around shop

Mechanics normally work Monday - Friday day shift only.
